While we don’t generally recommend car seats that aren’t built for purpose, the Doona has proven to be a safe, reliable and convenient car seat in required and additional crash testing. #CarseatFullstop rating - 4/5 The Doona operates as a compact rearward facing infant car seat, which can be used up to 13kg or 81cm (whichever is reached first). The seat itself weighs 7kg. The seat installs simply with a seat belt alone. Alternatively, you can purchase and use an ISOfix base which it clicks into. It has a built-in travel system and unfolds into an easy-to-use pram. The car seat is also approved internationally for use on flights, although you should double check with your airline in advance. Crash testing explained by #CarseatFullstop here (link). Safety Ratings: Passed basic safety standard: ECE R44/04 External testing: ADAC +2.4 (Good) Which? 61% (with seatbelt); 62% (with base) We do not recommend using any car seat other than an infant car seat for a baby under 13kgs or 75cm. An infant seat is specifically designed to protect your developing baby.

Cant review from experience but have to tekl my little story. The other day I went out with my 7 week old baby, pram, car seat everything in the car. Mind you I was alone on this mission. I get to where I need to be, park my car and I see this mom in the car next to me whip out her doona-so easy, light, within less than a min and off she goes. My turn.. so I have this chicco road runner pram (with the big wheels-it was my daughters from 3 years ago). Flip. Its heavy, massive and I struggled. It wasnt easy at all. Took up my entire boot. Literally envied the lady with her doona-good envy. Not going out with my boy alone anytime soon again. Lol.

I've got a Doona for my son and he's sadly almost outgrown it at 17 months. I absolutely love the convenience of this stroller and car seat combo (especially for travelling/ flying between cities). It's ideal if you have a small city car and want to save boot space too. When my son suffered from severe reflux, sitting in the Doona would eventually calm him down as the backrest isn't too far back, allowing him to be slightly upright but still comfortable.

This no fuss pram really makes it super easy for when you are alone with baby. It's small, compact and super easy to manoeuvre around in crowdy spaces. I am a Doona owner and the safely of folding the whole pram up and fixing it in the car was really important to me, i did not have leave the baby unattended while putting the rest of the pram in the boot. This is truly a good investment. The essentials bag is also a life saver and fits perfectly on the pram leaving your hands and body totally free and not constricted.

I am a first time Mommy to a 5 month little boy, and I own a Doona. I bought the doona when I was just 12 weeks pregnant and fell inlove instantly from seeing it in the baby shop, and even more so now that I have had the opportunity to use it. It is the easiest, no fuss, no bother travel system that makes yours and baby’s life easier! No more waking baby up to take them out their car seat! I don’t regret purchasing this product at all, and I can’t wait to get many more months use from it. I often get stopped at the shops by people that are so surprised by how easy this car seat turns instantly into a pram before your eyes! Go Doona! You have my heart set on this for life!
