While we don’t generally recommend car seats that aren’t built for purpose, the Doona has proven to be a safe, reliable and convenient car seat in required and additional crash testing. #CarseatFullstop rating - 4/5 The Doona operates as a compact rearward facing infant car seat, which can be used up to 13kg or 81cm (whichever is reached first). The seat itself weighs 7kg. The seat installs simply with a seat belt alone. Alternatively, you can purchase and use an ISOfix base which it clicks into. It has a built-in travel system and unfolds into an easy-to-use pram. The car seat is also approved internationally for use on flights, although you should double check with your airline in advance.
