So I own 2 pumps an electric as well as this manual pump. I love how simple it is to connect, it’s light and easy to hold, the suction on it is extremely good so I pump quite a substantial amount of milk in a short space of time, it has a pump function and if you hold the handle in after a few pumps it gives a strong suction for a continuous flow of milk....it’s small so really easy to store... overall a happy mommy

I bought this as a backup to my electric pump. However often i use this if i need to quickly express and am feeling lazy to connect the electric. Its a bit hard on the hands if you will be using it all the time - i often get tired/cramps after 10/15 minutes of pumping. There is a small rubber piece which is is easy to lose if you arent careful, (which is integral to maintaining the suction). Easy to clean, easy to use. I'm a big fan of the medela pumps. You cant go wrong with this.

As a work at home mum I decided to get the manual pump as I would be home to feed more often. This pump is very easy to assemble,disassemble and clean. High quality materials used in its production as it stood up to good use for 17 months and counting. This pump is very sensitive to moisture on the Manual hand pump or if there's no vacuum created by the breast shield. I was able to get minimum 50ml by expressing which helped to build up a stash. You would need to get a tiny brush to be able to clean the small crevices effectively. Portable to take on trips, durable for travel.
