Sudocrem is the only bum cream that worked to protect my newborn's skin during a time when he had the worst nappy rash I've ever seen. For some reason he had a constant drip of runny poop, and would never have a clean nappy for longer than a few minutes. This acidic poop against his bum lead to a terrible rash that would bleed. The regular bum cream we used just wasn't protective enough during this time, but once I found Sudocrem, his skin finally had a chance to heal back up. From that point on I didn't use anything else on his bum until the poop issue cleared up. The only downside to Sudocrem is that it is bad to use with cloth nappies, but we just used extra disposable liners in the nappy and were careful not to mess it onto the actual nappy most of the time, and everything worked out fine. It is expensive, but when you think of it as a medical treatment and not as an everyday item, then it is well worth the cost.

When my daughter was born, she had eczema and to this day extremely sensitive skin. This is the only bum cream we could use that didn't give her red spots all over her bum. I would recommend this to any parent.

An amazign product that has multiple uses , even for moms fever blisters. we only got in touch with Sudocrem when my son was a year old. he had swine flu in hospital and had terrible vomiting and diarrhea and a swollen and red bottom, and so a family member got this and within 2 days his bottom was well healed and free again.

Absolutely love this. I used it since my little girl was born and I will definitely be using it for the second one on the way.
